Since 1919, there have been fireworks in Spillville. The event is held at The Inwood Ballroom and Riverside Park and jointly sponsored by CIASI, the City of Spillville, and The Holy Name Society of St. Wenceslaus Church.

The celebration includes a 5k Fun Run, Face Painting, Dunk Tank, Bounce House, Children’s Games, the Moo Mobile, Free Root Beer and Watermelon, and Bingo. The Community Band plays a rousing composition, and the evening is topped off with a fireworks presentation by the South Winneshiek Area Community Group.

Often said to be the largest fireworks display in Northeast Iowa! The show begins at dusk.  Fireworks are choreographed and set to music.
